Laurie received the Jack Richeson Award for Pastel at the 123rd Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club Exhibition on Jan. 31, 2020 at the National Arts Club, NYC. The award-winning painting was “Helplessly Hoping”.
PARK AVENUE CLUB
Laurie received the Second Place Award at the Park Ave. Club “Transitions” Exhibit in Sept. 2019 for her oil painting “Moving Out”.
ON THE VERGE
” On the Verge”, a 42 oil painting exhibit by Laurie Harden is on view into September at the Skyland’s Medical Center, 206 Rte. 23, Franklin, NJ during business hours. The exhibit then moved to the Morris County Library for the month of Oct. It then moved on to the Kinnelon Library for Dec. 2019.

Laurie Harden’s pastel “Morning Reverie” and her oil painting “Salvage Worker, NYC’ were juried into the 2019 West Essex Art Association Exhibit, on view at Crane’s Mill, Passaic Ave., West Caldwell for the month of March. “Salvage Worker, NYC” won best in Category: Oils.

Laurie Harden received 2 prestigious award from the West Essex Art Association in 2018. The first one was for her pastel “The Dresser” in the Winter Exhibition displayed at Crane’s Mill, West Caldwell, NJ. In the Fall Exhibition, Ms. Harden received “Best In Show” for her oil painting “Best Friends”.

Laurie Harden’s oil painting “In a Moorish Café” received the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club Award at the AAPL 2018 Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club, 5th Ave., NYC.

Laurie Harden earned a 3rd place ribbon for the oil painting “Visiting Nana” at the Art Centre of NJ’s Fall Exhibition.

Laurie Harden received the “Best in Category: Portraits/Figurative” Award for her pastel “Helplessly Hoping” in the PSNJ Spring Exhibition. Ms. Harden also received an Honorable Mention Award for her pastel “Interiors” at the PSNJ Fall Exhibition.
ELLERY QUEEN PANEL AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY
Laurie Harden will be sitting on a panel to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Ellery Queen Magazine at Columbia University, in New York City on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. She will be speaking about her illustrations used in the magazine over the past 25 years. Many samples of her illustrations will be on view. Other panel members include Joyce Carol Oates and Milton Glaser.
